36 groups rescued in attempt to cross into Greece, in three days

Izmir, Sep 8 (DHA) - In Aegean provinces, within the operations of coast guard teams, 36 groups of migrants were intervened while attempting to cross into Greek islands, 1117 migrants were captured, and one migrant's lifeless body was pulled out of the water in three days.
On Sep 4-7, the nonstop works in Ayvacık district of Çanakkale, Çeşme, Dikili and Foça regions of İzmir, and Bodrum and Dalaman regions of Muğla led to rescue operations for thousands of migrants. Meanwhile, three human smugglers including a Russian organizer were detained.
